I will give the standard advice and say that in subzero temperatures Kat needs layers if she’s going to be spending more than a few minutes outside, especially if she’s not acclimated to the cold. The wind is the worst and most dangerous part. I find air is uncomfortable to breathe at these temperatures if my mouth and nose aren’t covered. It feels painfully dry.
How far in advance do you write these, or are you publishing as you go?
Also, our of curiosity, does Kat have a bond score with Landry? From a reader’s perspective, their relationship seems more than familiar enough to justify one.
She doesn’t have a bond score with him, but I do agree that they’ve been through a lot together at this point. I think I’ve been writing them like they do haha, at the very least they trust each other a lot.
My confession is that I had a lot written down before I first thought “maybe I should post this online” I’m about 100K words ahead of this mission, I think? I haven’t written for a while though, summer has been crazy.
I tried to keep the freezing temperatures in mind while writing haha, but flag it for me if something happens that isn’t possible (outside of the usual delta Green stuff haha)
